What actually happens in your driveway
This is one of our own jobs in the North Dallas area — not a stock photo. Here's the order things happen in, so nothing about the day is a surprise.

Before the first shingle comes off
Tarps go down along the elevations we're tearing, landscaping and A/C units get covered, and the driveway is staged so the dump trailer never sits on your turf. You can see the tarps and the sweeper already out in this shot — that happens before any work starts, not after.
Tear-off, then the deck inspection
Old layers come off down to the bare deck. We walk every sheet, mark anything soft or delaminated, pull loose fasteners, and photograph it. If sheathing needs replacing, you see the photo before you see the line item.
Dry-in, then the new system
Underlayment, ice-and-water at the valleys and penetrations, new pipe boots and flashing, then shingles run in straight courses off a chalked line. New flashing every time — we don't reuse old metal to save an hour.
The sweep and the walk-through
Magnetic sweeper across the yard, driveway, and street, gutters blown clear, then a walk-around with you before the crew loads up. If you find a nail after we leave, call us and we come back out.
